Because this compendium contains 50 real-life trauma cases, the interior pages are heavily visual, featuring detailed surgical photographs, tissue scans, and X-rays. Popular Medical College Hospital needed the printing to be crystal clear, but specifically requested that the pages not reflect harsh hospital or classroom lighting. Additionally, as a core educational tool, the book required a premium look and a binding strong enough to survive constant page-turning by medical students.
